Program

DAY 1

Arrival to Poland, to the airport in Bydgoszcz. Bydgoszcz sightseeing with a local guide: the Old Town, the Opera, locks on Bydgoszcz Canal, Mill Island. Visiting the Cathedral of Saint Martin and Saint Nicolas where there are 2 images of the Virgin Mary which are revered and crowned. Transfer for a dinner and accommodation to a hotel in Bydgoszcz.

DAY 2

Breakfast package. Travel to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Visiting the Sanctuary and a walk along pilgrimage park. The time for individual pray. Lunch. Travel to Wadowice. Walk along the city where St. John Paul II was born and grew up. (If it’s possible, visiting Museum of St. John Paul II). Transfer to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3

Breakfast. Travel to Kraków. Sightseeing tour with a local guide: Wawel Hill, the Royal Way, Mariacki Church, Sukiennice, places connected with St. John Paul II. Walk along Kazimierz district – the old Cracow district connected with Jews community. Lunch. Travel to Łagiewniki. Visiting The Sanctuary of Divine Mercy where there are relics of St. Faustina. Return to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4

Breakfast. Transfer to Wieliczka. Visiting UNESCO-listed Salt Mine with a local guide, where we can admire magnificent chapels, captivating underground lakes, original tools and equipment, traces of mining works. Lunch. In the afternoon travel to Cracow city centre. Free time and rest in the city. Return to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Full day trip to Zakopane. Visiting with a local guide: Tatra Mountains Museum, Krzeptówki Church, wooden church in Jaszczurówka, famous ski jump, Gubałówka Hill. Lunch. Free time on Krupówki – the most famous trade street in Zakopane where you can buy local products or rest in one of many regional restaurants. Return to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 6

Breakfast. Travel to Tyniec. Visiting the Benedictine Abbey, the oldest monastery in Poland. Free time for buying famous Benedictine products. Lunch. Travel to Oświęcim. Visiting Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau with a local guide, former concentration camp, a symbol of terror, genocide, and the Holocaust. Return to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 7

Breakfast. Travel to Częstochowa. Visiting Jasna Góra monastery, one of the most important country’s places for pilgrimages in Poland. We can see Black Madonna Chapel where there is the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa. Time for individual pray. Lunch. Travel to Bydgoszcz. Transfer to a hotel for a dinner and accommodation.

DAY 8

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Bydgoszcz. Departure to Rome. The end of pilgrimage.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS
  • Signing the contract for a pilgrimage, the participant pays 100 EUR of advance payment. The rest should be paid 30 days before the beginning of a pilgrimage.
